Michelin starred kiwi chef Josh Emett and successful restaurateur Fleur Caulton opened the doors to Madam Woo Queenstown in November 2013 as a new addition to the pairs 'Mayfare Group' that already operate the stylish & award winning 'Rata' in Queenstown.
Malaysian-born Jane Leong who worked alongside Josh at Gordon Ramsay's Restaurant, Maze, in Melbourne heads up the Madam Woo kitchen.
Drawing from her traditional Malaysian upbringing and her family’s love of cooking, Leong & Emett have developed a menu that uses traditional recipes served up in a contemporary way.
The Woo Crew are energetic, friendly & knowledgeable, offering a relaxed and informal dining experience with an underlying sophistication to match Madam’s flavours.
Pop into the bar for a 'Woo Brew' and Hawker Roll or let our Bar Team create one of their cocktails inspired by Asian flavours, a mix of re-visited classics and fresh originals before sitting for dinner.
Madam Woo is open 7 days from 12pm-late, offering dine in or takeaway. We are a walk in restaurant and only take bookings for groups of 8 or more.
